“Apparatus to demonstrate wave properties like wave propagation, reflection, refraction, diffraction and interference. Comprises of a rectangular plastic tank with clear bottom and sloped sides to eliminate unwanted reflections, a drain hole with a rubber stopper; 4 detachable legs. The tank is accompanied by two light alloy uprights that hold a horizontally adjustable rippler support rod. The ripple assembly, elastically suspended from the support rod, consists of a 4-6 V DC motor mounted on a wooden beam with an eccentric weight for oscillation. Two plastic spheres on right angle rods serve as point sources. The frame also includes a central metal rod for supporting the illuminant. The tank’s overall size is 580 x 500 x 80 mm, with a window area of 370 x 280 mm, and a height above the bench of approximately 375 mm (including legs). Complete with below accessories:
Two straight obstacles of aluminium alloy length 130 mm. One straight obstacle length 40 mm.
One curved reflector radius 200 mm.
One trapezoidal plastic plate for refraction.
One wood hand wave roller.
One water dropper.
One pkt. rubber bands.
One foam plastic sponge.
One illuminant with a 12 V, 24 W lamp mounted in a lamp house and provided with a long supporting rod which can be attached to a retort stand. With instructions.”
