Description

For measurement of velocity and acceleration, using timing marks made on a moving paper tape by a vibrating ‘striker’. Operating on a 12V AC power, produces dots at intervals of 1/50 or 1/60 seconds. Consists of an electromagnet and a spring-loaded armature that vibrates above a support table. A paper tape is guided through the table and is struck by a dotting screw attached to the armature. Mounted on a base and includes 12 carbon discs (dia 66mm), a tape roll (15mm x 30 meters).
